Meantime Weizen Double Bock Ale

Meantime Weizen Double Bock Ale

Meantime Brewing Company is aptly named, because they make some mean brews there in London.

The Meantime Weizen Double Bock Ale, for example, is so mean it's tough to drink.

Definitely a sipper. A hearty brew with heavy wheat and rich yeast characteristics.

I'm not a big boch guy, but this brew is more double Belgian than bock, so I held on through the full champagne bottle.

Definitely let it air a bit, and keep in mind it's 8% ABV.

This particular weizenbock would go great with some hearty German dishes, so get those brats cooking!
