The Firestone Walker International Beer Fest is about here, and we’re Hyped to be part of it.

Tickets for the inaugural event have been sold out for weeks, so if you’re hoping to be part of Saturday’s event (1-6 p.m.) at the Mid-State Fairgrounds in Paso Robles, Calif., you better get on Craigslist or start begging for tickets on Facebook or Twitter.
And all of it will benefit the Pioneer Day committee, dedicated to preserving the history and culture of our hometown here in Paso Robles. Now BeerHyped has participated in local craft beer fests before, but nothing quite like this. The Firestone Walker International Beer Fest is unlike any other in that only the brewers (from some of the top breweries in the world) will be pouring at this one. No distributors or sales folks. Just good beer. And good times.
The BeerHyped team will be on hand all afternoon, so if you want to meet the crew be sure to hit us up on Twitter @BeerHyped. We'd love to do a Q&A with some of the brewers pouring at the event, and get some insight into what's going into the top batches this summer.
In terms of the entertainment, Mother Hips is set to headline (from 4:30-6:30 p.m.), while One Time Spaceman (2:30-4:30 p.m.) and Hayburner (1-2:30 p.m.)
In terms of the beers, look who’s on tap for Saturday's event:
Can't wait to see what these brew masters have on tap this weekend. Get Hyped!
