East African Breweries Tusker Lager

East African Breweries Tusker Lager

Submitted by on May 11, 2012

One of the first (and only?) beers of East Africa, East African Breweries' Tusker Lager was first brewed in 1922.

It's named after the elephant the actually killed founder George Hurst.

Brewed from malts made from Mt. Kenya barley, this golden lager is light but hearty with a crisp finish that helpe it win the Gold Medal in the International Monde Selection Awards.

Definitely the best lager we've ever had from Kenya!
