California Festival of Beers Returns to San Luis Obispo

The California Festival of Beers returns to San Luis Obispo this weekend.

A benefit for Hospice SLO, the California Festival of Beers will be held Friday-Sunday at the Madonna In.

The festival is the largest, oldest-running celebration of beer in the Western U.S., and returns to its city of origin this weekend for its 26^th annual event.

This year’s event is expected to draw more than 80 breweries and 1,000 beers.

Event highlights include a food and special release beer pairing evening, a Brewer’s Panel and Symposium, and the inaugural Home Brewers Competition sanctioned by the AHA/BJCP.
